Superstar sports agency DragoNFlarE Media has announced that they have secured agreements for two rising international MMA prospects to sign with the FFL. DragoNFlarE, launched by a former Luxembourgian Popstar, specializes in bring top international talent to US markets. They most famously struck the biggest deal in Fantasy Softball history when they secured Robin Rodrigez, a native of the Dominican Republic, to a record breaking contract with the Seattle Fishers this past off-season. DragoNFlarE also represents some other top stars in Softball, Lacrosse, and Dodgeball as well. This is the agency's first foray into MMA.
Brand Manager Mark Miller had this to say, "DragoNFlarE is excited to bring both Parker McQuail and Rolad Bjornson to the FFL. Both these young men are turning heads in their home countries, and DragoNFlarE saw a great marketing opportunity in bringing these young men to the United States. We're talking T-shirts, DVDs, books, the whole she-bang! Also, the move will be very good for their careers. They bowl or something right?"
When confronted with the fact that they fight professionally Mr. Miller remarked with a laugh saying he was 'testing everyone'.
Softball star Robin Rodrigez had this to say over twitter in regards to the news. "Be not from the US, it is hard to make transition to the country. Rolad and Park are in good hands with DragoNFlarE #welcometothebrand". Miss Rodrigez famously led her team the Jersey Hurricanes to the NSFW finals last year where her team lost in heartbreaking fashion in game 7. While many of the core pieces remain at the Hurricanes, DragoNFlarE secured the move to perennial last place finishers the Fishers, because "they offered a lot of money, yo" according to Agent Miller. Time will tell if Rodrigez will ever sniff another NSFW Final again in her career.
Still, while DragoNFlarE has upended the lives of these two boys to ship them half way across the world to get punched in the face for a living, the fact remains that the FFL has gained some hot international talent. We will see the debuts of both McQuail and Bjornson at FFL 1 on January 25th.
